We try to be intentional about leaving behind as positive imprint as possible. We always act as sustainably as we can and consider the environment.
Everything at K-Print is produced in-house, from the first press sheet to the finished, packed product. That means a single point of accountability and full control over quality at every stage.
Offset is one of the most established printing technologies in professional print production — precise, consistent, and suitable for a wide range of paper weights and materials. K-Print's Heidelberg XL-106 has eight colour sections plus a varnish unit and prints on both sides of the sheet in a single pass. Colour is measured automatically every 7 sheets, ensuring consistency across the full run.
The HP Indigo 12 000 combines the flexibility of digital printing with offset-level colour quality. Short runs are cost-efficient because there are no printing plates — jobs go straight from file to press. The Indigo reproduces most Pantone colours accurately, which makes it well suited for brand-colour-sensitive work. It handles paper weights from standard flyer stock through to thick board.
Products available through the portal include matt, gloss, and soft-touch lamination, saddle-stitch binding, perfect binding, wire-o binding, and die cutting — all carried out in house on dedicated equipment. K-Print's full finishing range also includes hot foil stamping, embossing, and packaging production.

At K-Print, our goal is to make life easier for our clients by offering complete solutions with smooth and timely deliveries. We care deeply about minimizing our environmental impact. To achieve this, we continuously optimize our production processes, systematically reduce waste, redirect as much material as possible into recycling, and advise our clients on more sustainable printing and packaging options. We believe that sustainable development must be embedded in both our production technologies and management practices.
Environmentally conscious production has always been an integral part of our everyday operations. To reduce our environmental footprint, we place strong emphasis on recycling leftover materials and using electricity and heat energy efficiently.
Currently, we recycle over 90% of our production waste. Paper, cardboard, and packaging scraps are sent for reuse, printing plates are melted down back into aluminum, and even plastics and ink cans are processed for recycling. We distill our own water, use printing inks made from natural oils, and rely on print planning software that optimizes sheet usage. In logistics, we partner with climate-conscious providers whose operations are aligned with modern environmental standards.
Our climate control system is designed to recirculate 80% of the heat and 40% of the humidity generated in production back into the ventilation system. This allows us to significantly reduce the energy needed for heating and the water required for air humidification. Put simply: your printed products help heat our building.
Our environmental and quality management principles:
We believe the future of sustainable printing lies in process innovation and enhancing the overall value we deliver to clients.

K-Print was founded in 1992 by two Finnish entrepreneurs, but the company has been owned by Estonians already since 1998. Rein Rebane purchased the printing business housed in the premises in the Rottermanni Quarter of Tallinn from our neighbours across the gulf and took over management of the company. In the beginning, there were only 4 employees. Everyone did a little bit of everything, as is suitable for a small business. However, the company grew over time, and it was soon understood that the Estonian market will remain too small for the ambitions. The first expansion decision was towards the northern neighbour of Finland. This step turned out to be successful and thus the company carried on in both countries until the first economic crisis. As opposed to our current operations, the main products at that time were customs forms and business cards.
In 2011, Rein’s son Rait, who had started university the year before, joined the company. Young and ambitious, Rait took it upon himself to expand the business into Sweden. He put together an export team and jointly set to work. Regardless of the struggles of the first years, their dedication and grit finally saw them through. In 2014, the export turnover already exceeded sales in Estonia. The first success came from the Swedish market, from where recommendations soon propelled us into the Norwegian and then Danish markets. From there, we expanded into the Netherlands and Germany. Today about 80% of K-Print's production is exported. Our main export markets are Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Germany, and Poland. We also ship to clients in the UK, France, the USA, Canada, Japan, and Thailand.
Over the last 30 years, K-Print has grown into one of Estonia’s largest advertisement and packaging printing houses, where 70-100 people are employed, depending on the season. We still consider ourselves to be in a growth phase and see there is still a long way to go before reaching our ambitions!
